My real name is Liza, but I prefer to continue being called Lady. I'm pretty much what you do not expect from a girl and that's what I love about myself. I am frivolous, I spend money that I do not have, I enjoy the little things in life like the smell of rain on the cement, and sunrise right before it gets light out. I do not like to let people know how I feel, unless its a diary such as this. I am very much to myself. I ramble here.
My blog posts are written for personal reasons, as well as to review products, services, movies, books, and other blogs. Some posts may be payed for, or covered by another way of compensation, but they all contain my personal opinion of whatever I am writing and I will make sure to write that on my posts.

My flight to Russia is at 7pm next Saturday and then for two weeks I will be in Russia. I feel like this is more of a stressful trip to finally meet my distant family, rather than a vacation, but that’s fine. I’m sure I’ll relax there anyway.
I went to my school to see what was going on with Financial Aid, getting health insurance through the school, and getting the enrollment guide to help me transfer there. The Financial Aid won’t cover all of my semester bill + expenses for books, so I have to figure out what student loan to take out and I need to find scholarship(s) for next semester and the following years because I can’t have to pay off ALL of these loans when I finally graduate college.
I was scared that all of this was going to get a LOT more stressful because I’m going to be taking 2-3 science classes at a time and working my butt off at some minimum wage job so that I might be able to start paying off the loans WHILE I am in school. Maybe I will find a job during the year, but now I won’t have to juggle all of the studying with a boyfriend as well.
Sadly, me and my boyfriend broke up. It was a bad feeling to break up with someone so close to me, but things don’t always workout the way people want. Although I was bawling my eyes out last night, I have now figured that maybe it’ll be for the best and I’ll spend more time taking care of myself, and paying attention to schoolwork better.
I have work in 3 hours which means I have to leave in 2 hours, which means I have to shower now so that I have enough time to get ready. I will comment everyone either tonight or tomorrow morning.

So I keep forgetting that I have this website to take care of and I feel horrible because I really do love my blog. So before I go to Russia (the 17th of July), I will have a couple more blogs up, a new layout up, and I will try to make more makeup/guitar videos on youtube. Thanks to anyone who did subscribe, I hope more of you can follow me on there. Things have been really rocky in my life recently. Money problems, family problems, overall life stresses have been taking over. I’m just exhausted. Plus I have been working at my summer job so I haven’t had much time. But I WILL update, and when I get back from Russia, I will post pictures and update more. By the way, I got into the other college and now, all I have to do is pick classes, and get financial aid.
Anyways, I have work in the morning so I gotta go to sleep. But good night all you lovely people!

I have been obsessed with makeup, overloaded with work at a minimum wage job, and been playing World of Warcraft because my boyfriend wanted me to try it.
I haven’t been playing the guitar much because I’ve been playing with my makeup, and I have been anticipating new makeup to come in the mail. I am way too overloaded with the pretty colors haha. I have primers, eyeshadows, eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners, mascaras, new foundation, powder, blush, new brushes coming in the mail along with some jumbo eye pencils by NYX. A lot is coming in the mail, and I will be ordering some organizational drawers for my makeup on amazon soon enough. I just have to load up my bank account with tomorrow’s paycheck.
I have been working at the food place on the boardwalk and it is basically minimum wage. I don’t really know how to explain it, the job isn’t all that hard. It could be tiring, my back hurts a lot of the time because of the heavy weight I sometimes I have to carry, and some of the older co-workers (by older I mean by 40-50 years older) really annoy me and scare me sometimes. I have to travel by public transportation; it takes an hour to get there, and an hour back. And what really sucks is that if I am working during the week, sometimes I only get to work 4 hours which I don’t find to be worth the $32 I made (before taxes) for the travel. Sometimes I get tips though so it sort of makes it better. I actually have work tomorrow and Sunday at 1:00pm and payday is usually Saturday, so my paycheck should be around $200 for last week. *Fingers Crossed*
I started playing World of Warcraft because my boyfriend wants us to do something fun together that we both enjoy, and I actually really like the game. I just keep dying .
My mom gave me $100 as a gift for my good grades, and I already started spending money on makeup, and my boyfriend . Today I’m going to go get my transcript and hand it over to the school I’m transferring to. There is no way I can’t get in with THOSE grades. I am very happy at the moment. Everything is working out.

I know that it is supposed to take a while for a package to deliver to New York from Hong Kong, but I think it has been way too long. I ordered 3 things from eBay, all coming from Hong Kong, and 2 of them of have already arrived. The 2 that have arrived, were sent from Hong Kong, after the 1st one I ordered, which was supposedly sent out before the 2 that I now have in my possession. It’s not that I’m worried they stole my money, because I believe that they did send it and customs is having trouble sending the package through to the United States. I just really want my package to arrive!!!
One of the packages that arrived, contains a Lush Blush Brush. It is a really cute Kabuki makeup brush that has white bristles that fade into hot pink from bottom to top. The second package contains 36 mineral eye-shadows from 3, I’m guessing Asian, makeup companies: Leishi, Lanmei, and O’balla. Another package that I received, which I ordered from e.l.f. Cosmetics and not eBay, was basically $20 worth of makeup that I bought so that I could receive the free 12 pc makeup brush set. I basically bought:
3 eye-shadow quads
a “Plum-Perfect: Get the Look” set
a set of 3 lip glosses
a shimmer palette
an eyelid primer
2 all-over coverage sticks
I think that is all I ordered from e.l.f. and the 12 brushes that the order came with are:
eyebrow comb and brush
eyebrow and eyelash wand
lip defining brush
flat-top liner brush
defining eye shadow brush
eye shadow brush
blush, bronzer, and powder brush
total coverage brush,
smudge brush
concealer brush
foundation brush
and a blending brush
I’m really excited to use all my makeup, but that last package that I have been waiting for, for 16 workdays now, is my 120 pc eye shadow palette, and the colors are supposed to be completely matte and wonderfully pigmented. I know it sounds like a lot of colors, but I really love makeup. I love playing around with different shades to see what looks I can get, and how I can make my eyes look depending on what colors I use.
Besides that palette that I am anxiously waiting on, I need to get some foundation (either matte, or firming), a new powder, a better bronzer, a redness reducing powder, a new concealer, new mascara, different eyeliners, more makeup brushes, and some jumbo eye sticks from NYX. I have a lot on my list, and since I am working this summer, I will be getting everything on that list haha. Before I buy anything for myself though, I am getting my boyfriend a present. His birthday is June 15th, so it is right around the corner, and I want to get him something special .
Besides my gluttonous buy of makeup, I have been making makeup videos on youtube like I said I wanted to, and you guys should check it out. I only make 3 tutorial videos, 1 HAUL video, and 1 review video. I’ll post the newest one below after I write everything for the blog. The last video I made was for the Get the Plum Perfect Look set I bought from e.l.f. cosmetics. It didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped but, I will be getting better at makeup, I promise!!
So finals have been turning out really well. I got an overall grade of A- for Chemistry this semester, which I am really excited about because I think it was my worst class. I think I might have gotten a B or B+ in Pre-calculus, but hopefully the other classes are all As’. If I get all As’, it will be the best accomplishment of mine, ever. To get straight As’ in a semester of college? That would be awesome.
I want to know if anyone would like to buy hosting from me? I have a master reseller which means I can sell resellers as well as regular shared hosting, so get at me wordpress and free blog users!!
Also, What makeup tutorials/guitar covers would you guys like for me to do? I would take requests if you guys promise to friend/subscribe/give feedback on my videos!!

3 to go. I took my Psych final on Friday, and in a little over 2 hours, I have my Chemistry final. Oyyyy I am so nervous but I studied my ass off so hopefully I get an A, or at least a B+. Precalculus final and Intro to Literature final on wednesday, and after that, I am DONE with this semester, and my time at this college. I’m not sure if I have mentioned in previous posts, but I am transferring hopefully next semester to a different college, so yes, this will be my last semester at my current university. My writing class did not need a final because its a workshop class, thank god. I love the class, but having to take a final for it would have probably upset me just a little bit.
I added a new youtube link to my sidebar on the left. I have a guitar channel, and I am starting up my makeup channel. The only problem is some of my makeup has not arrived yet, and I REALLY need to get some brushes that are more professional. EyesLipsFace.com is having a sale where you get a set of 12 makeup brushes for free with any $20 purchase. The offer ends tomorrow, and I want to ask my mother today if I could use her credit card. I have no money on my account right now because I spent it all on the makeup I ordered from eBay hah.

I have been writing a lot recently for college assignments and for simple fun, and I decided it is time to update my blog again. About time right? I still have a few classes left for the semester, and some finals. Last class ends at 11:00am on Wednesday, and my finals’ schedule goes as follows: Friday – Psych final; Monday – Chemistry final; Wednesday – Literature final and Precalculus final. A few finals ahead of me, but hopefully I find the patience and concentration to study well enough and get As’ on the finals. God knows I need these As’, my grades in classes are not as great as I would have hoped due to my failing studying strategies, but I will pray to Buddha that all goes well.
After classes, and finals, I will most probably be going to Russia. I am waiting on my passport from the consulate, but as soon as I receive it, my mother and I are setting foot on that plane and going to the old country. I have never been there because my mother had me in America and she only became an American citizen last year, so before there would be no chance in going to Russia, and returning to America all in one piece.
When I finally come back from Russia, I will be blogging a lot more and a lot of makeup I ordered on ebay will be coming in so I figured I would do makeup tutorials for my woman-readers. I’m sure all you ladies look great with the makeup you use, or don’t use if you like being au-natural, but it can be a real treat to pretty yourself up with different techniques.

That I continue neglecting my blog and other bloggers. I am sorry, please all of you forgive me. My birthday is May 8th, saturday, so lately I’ve been busy with planning, running around, and doing homework and studying. Not much time to blog and all that but I will try to post about my party and miami spring break with pictures. And I will try to comment everyone back, and comment those who haven’t commented here because I haven’t in a while!
Where did the time go? I swear it seems like its only been one week since I have written a post, but its actually one day away from being two whole weeks. Wow, I have no track of time these days. So much studying and essay writing for my classes has taken away any value of time for me. I have managed to organize myself and work on my time-management skills. Its a big deal for me so, yes, I had to mention that.
I was at the library yesterday and got a few books to read on the side. One of them I am already halfway through. It’s called “Hot Mess: Summer in the City” by Julie Kraut and Shallon Lester. Its an easy read, young adult novel which just seems interesting to read because I actually DO live in the city, and am only one year older than the main character and her best friend. She goes through the same problems as me, and I feel like its nice that I’m not the only one going through what she is going through. Sure she is only a character in a book, but authors write what they know, so that leads me to infer that the authors have gone through similar situations as the characters. Now I am rambling, jeez. I will return comments later, I have to go write another essay.

It’s mainly just a new header and I used the old code from my Cupid layout. I was just playing around in photoshop and got this beauty of a creation so I decided to use it.
